A BABY BOY is on the way!!!!

C
TL

This is what we gave our parents for Christmas!

YES....it's a BOY!!! He will be named Carson Lee Tedder. Carson is my Dad's middle name and his Dad's (my grandfather) first name. Lee is Brent's Dad's middle name.

Everything went really well. Diane started crying when they told us it was a boy....but quickly recovered when we told her that she wouldn't have to share as many of her toys. She also was looking at the screen and they had put two pictures up...she then told Brent.. "See Daddy it's a boy AND a girl"

I go back on Jan. 21st and have another ultra sound. They could not see one of the veins that connects to the heart. However my doctor told me not to worry that it is really hard to see and that the baby was growing right and had a great heart beat.

Happy Birthday....Diane is 3

So it is official Diane is now 3!! To start the day off we took her for breakfast at McDonalds! Thankfully Daddy didn't have to go to work until 9:00 so he got to eat with us. However I suggested we go to the one by his work which has a playground, but I forgot that it was outside....OOPS!!!!

Diane then went to Daycare at Neesy's. She wanted Mimi to pick her up so she picked her up around 4:30pm. Which most of you know it had started snowing and sleeting!! So to make a long story short...we were supposed to meet and eat at 6:30 and we didn't until 7:45!
We met at Chick-fila (Diane's favorite place to eat)! It was Brent, Nelson, Diane, Mimi, Poppi and I! Diane go to play for a little bit, but they were closing at 8pm because of all the snow and ice!

So we finally went home and Diane got to open her presents!! :)

Our Sick Family

So the past several weeks our family has been sick! We have had colds on top of colds! This week I am actually feeling good, but Brent and Diane are SICK!!! After Diane coughed ALL day on Wed. then proceeded to throw up in her hair in her sleep that night with both cheeks beat red from a fever...we decided she might need to go to the doctor!!

So on Thursday I took her to the doctor. Who thought she might have pneumonia! So he sent us to get an x-ray! Thankfully she didn't have pneumonia! However he said she has bronchitis!! :( So he gave us cough medicine and an antibiotic!! Hopefully one day we all be well again!! :)

This picture is from Thursday night. Daddy and Diane were both not feeling good. I went in the other room to get something and when I came back they were both sound asleep!! Thought this was cute and wanted to share!!

This is how I found Diane the next morning! And Yes she is asleep!!

Mother's Day Out~ Chritmas Party

They started celebrating Christmas this week at MDO. The children made a holiday necklace with Fruitloops, decorated a Christmas tree with sticker ornaments, & sang Christmas songs.

Parents were invited after class to the MDO Christmas party. Since Brent
had to work and could not come, they invited Nanny which is Diane's
great grandmother to come. She also helps out sometimes in the class.
We had a wonderful lunch, a great visit with Santa, & then watched a movie
showing a
summary of this year's MDO classes.

Diane is a little scared of Santa!

EMERGENCY Room and 3 stitches

November 6

Today I got a call around lunch time from Denise (the lady who keeps Diane 2 days a week)! She informed me that Diane had walked behind a little girl swinging on the swing, and that she might need stitches. She was not sure, but wanted me to come see it.

Well of course she needed stitches! So we went to Baptist ER! We didn't have to wait to long, but she was not prepared for what was to come!

We had to wrap her in a blanket and hold her down! She then got her first stitches! Yes! There were only 3, but for someone so little this was a very traumatic experience! After that she got stickers, popsicle, and sucker! We then met Daddy at Chick-fila(her favorite place to eat) and she got to pick out a movie afterwords!

5 Days Later......

November 11

Well no more stitches!! YAY!! She did very well protecting her "boo boo" this week! She would scream and cry if we took the band aid off (that she insisted on wearing)!! We had to hold her down to take it off and to put it on. However as of about 5pm today we don't need anything anymore!!
