123 ABC

So Diane has been learning her numbers and letters! She loves to sing the alphabet song! Her favorite part is "now I know my ABC's, next time won't you sing with me"! We have the Leap Frog alphabet that you put on the frig and she loves it! The numbers on the other hand aren't so easy! She loves the number 3! Her one's and her two's sound like 3 if I don't stop her and make her listen to how it sounds! But we're working on it and will have it down in no time!

PANTIES! PANTIES! PANTIES!

Diane we are happy and proud to say is now wearing big girl panties!! She is still wearing pull ups at nap time and bed time and has had a few accidents, but she is on her way to being a big girl! Her favorite panties are her "memo" aka elmo panties!

Mother's Day Out~Sea Life

Today at MDO they finished learning about "Sea Life"! They made "Neat-O Starfish" made out of cheerios! They also got to go outside and play in an octopus sprinkler! Oh also Mrs. Mary Beth had brought sand back from her trip to the beach!

P.S. We want to tell you the exciting news..... Mrs. Mary Beth is expecting her 3rd!! I believe it is due in December! YAY!!

Mother's Day Out ~ Ocean

Today Diane had another fun day at the "ocean." They dressed up as sharks and made an ocean out of blue jello & fish gummies for each child to take home. They read about how God can always see us and how Jonah was swallowed by a big fish because he tried to hide & not obey God. They also were able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful day. They had a new classmate,Cara, which makes 11 children for the summer MDO(mother's day out)!

GRADUATION!

We wanted to congratulate "Uncle" Adam and Diane! Adam graduated on May 10th from Harding University and Diane graduated May 18th from Smyrna High School! After Dian's graduation Their parents had a family celebration!

Trying to Keep Up

Ok...so I had this last year and I just kinda stopped updating it! So I'm going to try and keep it up this time! here it goes....


We have had a lot going on! Diane turned TWO! We had a niece named Meric born in January and another named Ella born in April! We have been to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood! Our friends Austin and Karen got married last weekend! Brent was a groomsman I was a bridesmaid and Diane was a flower girl! Diane has started going to Mother's Day Out once a week! I will post more blogs later giving details about all these events with pictures!

Mother's Day Out

Well I wanted to tell you about Diane going to Mother's Day Out! She goes once a week on Wednesdays from 9:30-12pm. It is at Granny White Church of Christ. She LOVES it! Most of the kids are older than her so it makes her feel so big when she gets to do what they are doing! The first day she went I had no idea that we would be able to see what she and all the other kids were doing! So I was VERY surprised to get an email from her "Teacher" Mary Beth Wilson! Every week she sends at least 7 or more photos of the day! It is so wonderful that I can see for myself how she is interacting with all the kids!

For Mother's Day Brent, Diane, Mimi(Tamera), Poppi(Joe), Omee, Nanny, Kaye K(my aunt Donna, my mom's sister) and I went to church and then went to Mimi's Cafe! It was so good! We then went to the Avenue and shopped around an hour and a half or so! I think we then all went home and took naps! It was just a relaxing day! Oh and a special thank you Nanny for making the outfit Diane has on!

~Sweet & Sassy~

Ok so one of my best friends, Shelby, works at the children's boutique Sweet & Sassy! So I took Diane to get her nails done! We did pink toenails and finger nails with green and pink flowers. It was the week before Austin and Karen's wedding and that was the color scheme! Anyway, Diane had a blast!! She especially liked the spray that you put on once your nails are painted! When she was done she got a pink butterfly sucker and a pink glittery star on her cheek! Thank you Shelby we love you!!
