HE PASSED!!!!!

Yep.....you guessed it! Brent passed the written test for the firefighters job! We are so excited! The next step is the agility test. He started running last night! He will be able to go and see the corse he will be doing on March 21st! Then he gets to pick from several days when he wants to take it. Things are going faster than we expected..YAY!! Thank you to everyone for keeping us in your prayers!

MDO 2009

This week was extra special! We went on a field trip to Let It Shine in Cool Springs! We had lot's of fun swinging and sliding in the foam pit! Here are a few pictures! I will try to get more up soon!

She was finally able to go back the last two weeks in February and had a great time. They learned about snow and did a really fun science project with raisins and sprite.

For those of you that do not know...Brent has put in an application to become a firefighter in Smyrna! We are happy to say he takes his written test on Thursday Feb. 26th. If he passes he will then go on to take an agility test. If he can pass both of those they will then talk to his references and have an interview with him! On a good note we have the town manager on our list of references and he personally delivered the application for us. PLEASE PRAY for Brent and our family!


The job he is currently at is horrible! He never knows his schedule, if he does work overtime he does not get paid time and a half (which he has barely been getting 30hrs) , and his boss is a jerk. His Dad is actually looking for a new job as well! (He helped Brent get on there) If he can get the firefighters job he eventually should be able to drive one of the trucks sense he already has his CDL.

BABY CARSON!

Well I have been to the doctor twice since my last post about Carson! And I do not have designational diabetes..yay! I can't believe it, but I start going every two weeks now! It just doesn't seem like I'm that far along! He is doing great though! He moves and kicks ALL the time! Here is the latest picture and probably the last before he gets here! It was taken probably around a month and a half ago!

Turning 22!

I turned 22 today! Even though it was President's day of course I didn't have off. My Dad and Grandmother brought me cake and ice cream! It was SO good! I was able to have lunch with Nancy and Elizabeth! Then for dinner Brent took me to Hickory Falls then to see a movie at the new Malco-Roxy Theatre. We saw The International! So here is to another great year! Oh and no I have no pictures of this wonderful day! Sorry! :)

Valentine's Day / Wedding

We want to wish everyone a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! Our day was spent in Columbia! Ms. Suzanne Wilson became....Mrs. Jeff Gillis! We are so happy for her! And as so many people have said.....keep Jeff in your prayers:) j/k We love you Suzanne! I was an honorary bridesmaid..yes at 28 weeks prego and counting! Luckily all I had to do was walk down the isle and sit down! Congrats to Suzanne and Jeff!

Pigeon Forge 2009

So usually we go to Pigeon Forge/Gaitlinburg in April or May! However, with Carson coming in May we won't be able to make it then. So when we had the chance to go in January we jumped on the chance!! Though it was cold and the rides weren't really open we had a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures I was able to get!
